The Central New Jersey Robotics Group gained notoriety in its area and beyond especially because of such events as Robot Madness Day when people passionate about robotics gathered in one place to show off their skills and new projects.
The whole thing started over a decade ago with a high school show where students presented the result of their Electronics classes to parents and school officials in the form of robotized machines; their very own little robots.
Since then and due to the success of this science in the area, the Central New Jersey Robotics Club formed to provide robotics enthusiasts with a new home. The goal of the program was to provide a place for those passionate about electronics, mechanics and engineering to meet and learn from each other’s talents and experiences.
Those that treated robotics as a hobby or as a lifetime career could come together in the Robotics Club to collaborate and also compete every month in contests open to the public as well. The main goal of the program is sharing the excitement of robotics and promoting its utility in education, entertainment and sportsmanship.
