Robot Madness Day was an event held every year in the Central Jersey area, where robotics enthusiasts came to compete in various events where they could show off what they have been working on lately and compete in different contests.
The first Robot Madness day was held over a decade ago, on June 1st in the year 2000 at a high school in Central New Jersey. The event was meant to show school officials, parents, and the community what students had learned in the Electronics classes during the past year. The event grew into something more since then, bringing in larger crowds of enthusiasts every year. While it stays close to its roots, where students get to present what they have constructed with robotics, others flocked in to see and participate in the event.
People come from around the Jersey area and beyond to have fun and also learn something new from the Robot Madness experience. The displays range from military robots to social robots, commercial and amateur ones, walking robots and rolling robots, even crawling robots. If you wanted to learn about robotics in Central Jersey, this was the place to go.
